Volunteers and Member Organisations

Did you know that if your organisation is a member of Darlington for Culture you can access the Volunteer Service to support your events? We have a group of enthusiastic volunteers who are keen to support the development and sustainability of arts and culture across the town. If you are looking for support for a single event or a regular commitment we can help. All volunteers have been vetted and checked by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). To access the service simply e mail your requirements to volunteerdarlingtonforculture@gmail.com

 

Please give some details in terms of volunteer duties, times and dates required and someone will get back to you by return. Giving as much notice as possible will increase the chances of us being able to match your needs with volunteers. If you would rather discuss possibilities to suit your requirements simply email a contact telephone number and we will ring you back.

 Do You Want To Help?

If you would like to support the provision of cultural and arts activities in Darlington, please read on. We are looking for volunteers who have some time and enthusiasm to give. Anyone can volunteer whether you have a lot of time to give or just a little. There are lots of volunteering opportunities so this means that there is something to suit everyone whatever your skills and aspirations, whether you want a role engaging with the public or working behind the scenes. If you want to meet new people, learn new skills and get involved in the community, as well as have fun, please consider volunteering for us.
