Festival: ‘Sound as a poem’ writing workshop

Make your poems resonate, sing, buzz, whisper, roar, ring.

Poets and song writers use sound in a variety of ways to create mood, meaning and images so that they have an impact on readers and listeners. In this workshop, participants will sound out different techniques and explore ideas then use some in a poem.

Ann Cuthbert is a local published poet and short-story writer who enjoys working with others.

Suitable for beginners and those with writing experience.
