Join a joyful and uplifting songwriting workshop with Bridie Jackson and members of Darlington Sing Community Choir. All levels of singing or writing experience are very welcome at this event. The only entry requirement is a love of music.
With exercises, songs, tips and games, the group will guide participants through the process of how to use self-expression and creativity to write a song.
Lead singer and songwriter of ‘Bridie Jackson and The Arbour’ (winners of the 2013 Glastonbury Emerging Talent Contest), Bridie Jackson is a musician based in the North-East. She is well known within the region and beyond for her work as a performer, songwriter and teacher, which includes her role as Music Director for Darlington Sing Community Choir.
Darlington Sing Community Choir are people united by a love of singing, and whose mission – Sing, Inspire, Nurture, Grow – is firmly based in a belief that music should be available to all.

Cost: Suggested donation of £2 per person
Age restrictions: This workshop is suitable for adults aged 18+. Younger people are welcome if accompanied by an adult
