Festival: The Bridge Centre for Visual Arts

The Bridge Centre for Visual Arts is a community of artists and local groups providing classes in a wide range of Arts and Crafts as well as community and social groups who meet with an Arts and Crafts theme for social purposes.

On three days during the Darlington Arts Festival, the Centre will be open for anyone to drop in to see what’s available. In addition, on Saturday 16 May some of the Arts and Craft tutors will be at The Bridge providing demonstrations, exhibiting work and, in one or two cases, providing the opportunity for people to try their hand at what’s on offer.

The venue will also have an exhibition of artwork on show in the main corridor. This will be one of our regular exhibitions which change approximately every eight to 10 weeks.

The building is fully accessible and entry is free of charge. Should anyone wish to sign up to one of the classes running here then there is a charge for that, which is explained in the leaflet.
