AudioVisual: gig and exhibition at Voodoo Cafe

AudioVisual is a one-night-only gig and exhibition held at Voodoo Cafe on Monday 22nd July 2019.

Artists and musicians from or based in the North East come together to celebrate with the people of Darlington and beyond. The night champions creativity on our doorstep, and doors open at 5pm and the event closes around 11pm.

There will be three contemporary bands: seven-piece psychedelic funk outfit Ronald Raygun, set to play the YNOT main stage later this month; Uncle Buzzard, jazz-tinged yacht rockers signed to bowl cut records; and Electric Screams, local scene veterans playing soulful alt-indie bangers.

The exhibition shows work across a range of disciplines including painting, drawing, sculpture, video and photography from 11 visual artists. Carol Sommer, Becca Heath, Beth J Ross, Daniel Lucey, Tom Chandler, Dayna Heaviside, Euan Barr, Mitchell Dilley, Jenny Alderson, Euan Lynn, Lydia Bailey.
