Outside In is a charity that supports artists who face barriers to the art world due to health, disability, social circumstance or isolation. The organisation’s aims are to make the art world a fairer place.
It is running an Artist Support Day to help artists create online galleries on its website. Artits can attend a one-hour 1-1 session when the organisation works with them to photograph their work, write an artist statement and create an online gallery on our website.
The free event is on Tuesday 16 July at Crown Street Library from 10am-4.30pm. Artists can take five pieces of work to photograph, Outside In will take high-quality images of their art work and how to write an artist statement.
There is also the opportunity for artists to submit work for possible inclusion in a national exhibition with the theme of Environments. This exhibition will take place at Kings Place in London in the Autumn.
