Applications open from 30 November 2020 and the deadline for applications is 31 January 2021. Successful organisations will be notified within two weeks of the deadline. The fund will be available for spending between February 2021 and February 2022.
The scheme aims to enable applicants to develop capacity and resource to make a music venue, event or organisation more inclusive and accessible, not only in terms of considering those with disabilities but to consider inclusion more broadly.
To apply for a grant, attend Musinc’s three-part series of online events. These will look at different ways of developing and embedding inclusion and approaches to physical accessibility within a music venue and/or wider organisation and will hopefully provide ideas of things that organisers could implement with the support of the grant.
The events are:
Monday 23 November, 11am–noon, online: Session 1: Making your music venue and/or music events more inclusive and accessible (in partnership with Attitude is Everything) For details and to book, visit Eventbrite
Wednesday 25 November, 11am–noon, online: Session 2: Making your organisation more inclusive – covering:
