Kolbe and Pam Bassington at the Festival

An Exhibition of Work by Kolbe and Pam Bassington will take place during Darlington Arts Festival.
Details: The Library in the Friends’ Meeting House, Skinnergate, Saturday 27th May, 10.00am-4.30pm.
Kolbe has been making ceramics for 15 years; he enjoys creating small, curious objects.
Pam Bassington gained a First Class Honours degree in Contemporary Fine Art in 2012. She has exhibited in Cork Street and had her digital image projected onto various buildings in London, as a successful entrant in the ‘Kill Your Darlings’ competition, a promotion for the Ginsberg film starring Daniel Radcliffe.
Pam makes medium to large pots using coils, preferring an organic and, often, less than symmetrical look. The clay tends to dictate where it wants to go, so, mostly, Pam lets it.
Her images are a result of digital reworking her own photographs. They are printed on material associated with outdoor advertising; lightweight and durable, they are unencumbered by mount or frame.
